Thankful

I was adopted with many problems that I had to overcome when I was born.

Two wonderful people adopted me and helped me over come those problems and I'm so thankful to them for that. Thanks to them I can spend the holidays with them.

I don't know who my biological mother is but when the holidays come around I look up to the sky and know that she shares the same sky and earth as I do. And if she has gone home then I know she is looking down upon me and smiling, knowing she did the right thing.

I'm forever thankful to my biological mother and to my adoptive parents, for without both sets of parents I would not be here right now. I may never find her, but that is okay cause in my heart I know she did the best she could, and that helps me to be thankful for what I have - even though it's not in front of me.
