Easter will be upon us soon, the time of renewal and rebirth, a time of new beginnings. In God's world, this change takes place naturally; in man's world we must push, cajole, and speak up to make it possible. In order for this to happen, we must see the importance of our planting that seed of change.

Every person has a voice, no matter how weak or small. He must express himself in order to prepare the way for necessary changes. We encourage you to voice your opinion and stand up for what you believe. This is the only way a world most of us live in fear of will become a good place to live. A decision on your part to try to make things better for mankind is one of the most important ones you will make. The bible mandates us to serve our fellow man. It exhorts us to care about them and love them. We cannot do this if we bury our heads in the sand about all those atrocities happening around the world. If we can avert our eyes from starving children and not see the injustices done all around us, we cannot change our world.

It takes a strong constitution to see things as they really are and a long-term commitment to do what we are supposed to do. But it is required if you wish life to be as it was intended.

We always hear the same thing -"What can one person do?" One person can promote public awareness of the issues. They can write to representatives to support laws or ask them to vote against bills that do not have positive results for our world. We can give what we have to others financially, but more importantly we can give of our knowledge and time. One person cannot begin to solve the problems of the world, but together we can. We must, in order to protect our freedom and to make the world a safe place for our children. A vital family value is teaching the importance of putting others before ourselves, and this is one small way. We have grown up in a 'Me Society', where the most important aspect of anything is how does it affect me. Our young people have brought self-centeredness to a high art form. The average person does not look far beyond his own wants and needs and tries to fulfill those at any cost. It matters little whether he steps on others to get ahead, engages in deceit to prosper, or decides to violently oppose competitors. Nothing matters but self and personal gain.

It is hard to change behaviors of people, but some have only been shown this path of indifference or hatred toward others that they are on. As Christians, and those who believe in family values, we must act. We are all that stands between those who care only about themselves and those victims who need us. We must show by brilliant example that there are people who care. Please join us in our fight to make positive changes that affect us all. Participate by responding to issues and offering to be instrumental in a plan of action to get things done. We are not a minority in wanting changes made, but everyone is afraid to stick their neck out and voice their opinions. We need all of us to make the change for a better world.
