Hearing why your day went wrong

Cleaning a scratch, ironing a dress
Helping you spell before the big test

Each little task that I do along the way
Is not just a task to fill the day

I'm teaching values and sharing smiles
Cause you will be a child for such a short while

Laughing and dancing, being a little daring
Taking the time to make sure you are sharing

To stop and laugh, to give a little touch
Really isn't asking too much

Cause seeing you with a smile on your face
Makes me want to be no other place.
