Party Foods
One of the most important party elements is food. Theme parties ask food to play a special role in their forwarding the theme and adding to the fun. Sometimes you are trying to recreate the actual look of food from another era or place. Often we are just trying to add another layer to our theme by calling food appropriate
names to fit in with our party. Either way, ideas can be gleaned from many places. I found you a few. Some of these sites also include other party information as well so they do double duty as resources.
The site called Recipe Collection is a wonderful place for kids' food recipes that are easy for them to make at a "Cooking Party" or fun to serve them. Make sure you tell the kids their special names for these fun food ideas. Check the recipes for Fish in the River and Cat's Eye's.
