I have been looking for my half brother and sister from my father's first marriage for quite some time now, with no luck. Just when I thought I was getting somewhere, it was pretty much a dead end. I have signed up with ISRR, The Mutual consent voluntary adoption registry with the state of Iowa, I even had my dad sign the form for the biological parent application for revelation of county of adoption, with the state of Iowa. I have made several phone calls to the Iowa state dept of health, several letters have been sent back and forth from me to them and them to me, still without a solid lead. I live in Indiana. This is the information that I have. If anyone can help me, please do; thank you!!

The oldest of the two siblings is a girl, her birth name was Jody Heet, born August 15, 1966 at Parkview Hospital Plymouth, Indiana. She was approximately 6 years old when she was adopted. She was adopted by a couple in Iowa. I do have her adopted name and the names of her adoptive parents, but I do not feel comfortable releasing that info. So if you are her or know her, please contact me. The younger sibling is the boy; his birth name was Joseph P. Heet, born May 28, 1970 at St. Mary's Hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The application for revelation of county of adoption was returned to me stating that he was (the way I understand it) adopted in Linn County, Iowa and filed on 11-12-1980, so if this is the date of adoption, then he was 10 years old. I have so much information about my father, and their mother, but again I do not want to reveal all of this information.

If you can help, please e-mail me at camhse96@yahoo.com

Thank you!
