After getting small pieces of the puzzle which comprise my genetic history for nearly twenty years now, this time last year I was given all of it. EVERYTHING. My birth father has gone to be with the Lord (since 1986 - that was quite a shock, since I had a terrible relationship with my adoptive father and was hoping against hope to meet him).

My birth parents married a couple of years after I was born and had a son (MY REAL BROTHER) Robert D. Reynolds born 10/31/1962 in Orange County, CA (married Lorretta Dennison 4/21/1984 in Kern County, CA). They had two children - Robert Dale born 4/19/1984 and Richard Daniel born 9/4/1986.

My birth mother's maiden name was Janet Sue LaPlante born 7/26/1944 in Worchester, Ohio and last known surname is Amato. I even have her social security number, BUT without at least $500.00 (which I do not have), I may not even find her before she is with my birth father and her father. This is the most heart wrenching and frustrating thing in my entire life.

I thank God that He is the peace that passes all understanding, and that His joy is my strength, because without the unconditional love of God, I would be locked up in an institution. I have an undiagnosed autoimmune disease. I have, however, been diagnosed with fibromyagia/myofascial pain syndrome complex. I am in chronic pain day in and day out.

I have a skin disorder that my dermatologist cannot cure, but he says it is definitely genetic which causes the palms of my hands and the arches of my feet to break out in little blisters before peeling and bleeding constantly. If only I could contact a single relative who might have a clue. My body and my heart are broken, and my spirit is bringing up the rear. Is there any other way, besides a financial one, to find a lost loved one? I sure would like some hope. The holiday season does it to me every year, but this one is a particular doozy.
