882.01. Adoption of adults.
An adult may be adopted by any other adult, who is a resident of this state.
882.02. Consent.
The consent of the adult to be adopted and the consent of the spouse of the petitioner, if that spouse has not joined in the petition under s. 882.01, shall be filed in writing with the court.
