Mr. Benyamin Cirlin is the Executive Director of the Center for Loss and Renewal, a life transition therapy and consultation practice located in New York City. Mr. Cirlin is an expert in the field of grief, loss and healing, and has presented workshops both nationally and internationally. In March 2000, he presented a lecture in Jerusalem, Israel at the annual conference of the European Association of Palliative Care. Mr. Cirlin has presented his workshop, "Saying Goodbye After Goodbye," at seventeen hospices across the nation. Mr. Cirlin has appeared on television discussing issues of grief and loss, most notably following the crash of TWA Flight 800 and the death of Princess Diana. Mr. Cirlin also serves as Bereavement Coordinator at the Jacob Perlow Hospice of Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City. Mr. Cirlin is a graduate of the Wurzweiler School of Social Work at Yeshiva University. He also completed post-graduate studies in psychoanalytic psychotherapy at the Long Island Institute for Mental Health. Mr. Cirlin works with both individuals and groups in his active pyshcotherapy practice.
