Biography

Gerrit Dawson is married and the father of four children. He is pastor of First Presbyterian Church of Lenoir and engages in an active writing ministry. Dawson has written numerous articles on the Christian spiritual life and his fifth book, I Am With You Always: Meeting Jesus in Every Season of Life, will be released this Spring. He met Thomas Torrance in Edinburgh five years ago and immediately became an ardent student. Their relationship led to Dawsons editing in 1999 a book of essays by the Torrance brothers entitled A Passion for Christ.
