Dr. Jennifer Bass is a Clinical Instructor of Pediatrics at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Attending Pediatrician at Jacobi Medical Center in Bronx, New York. Dr. Bass received her undergraduate degree in biophysics from the University of Pennsylvania, graduating magna cum laude. She attended medical school at New York University School of Medicine where she cofounded Students Teaching AIDS To Students (S.T.A.T.S.) an organization dedicated toward educating New York City teenagers about AIDS. After receiving her medical degree in 1994, Dr. Bass completed both internship and residency in Pediatrics at Montefiore Medical Center. Upon completion of residency in 1997, she served as pediatric chief resident at Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center. Dr. Bass is currently a Clinical Instructor of Pediatrics at Jacobi medical center. She is deeply involved in both medical student and resident education. She is currently investigating the role of parental attitudes toward the development of childhood obesity. Dr. Bass is board certified in Pediatrics and a current member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
